Leave it to Schiaparelli to drop a pop-up that feels less like retail and more like a gilded art installation - right in the middle of Dubai Mall.

Dubai has never been shy about its love affair with excess - and this season, Schiaparelli decided to lean all the way in. The house has quietly dropped a new pop-up in Dubai Mall, and yes, it’s as dramatic as you’re imagining. Think surrealist shimmer, hammered-gold fantasy, and that unmistakable Daniel Roseberry swagger wrapped neatly inside Fashion Avenue.

This isn’t your average holiday retail setup. The space is a golden echo of Schiaparelli’s storied Parisian salons - reimagined through Dubai’s more-is-more lens. Roseberry’s era of surreal hardware and sculptural jewellery is mirrored in the polished brass walls, turning the boutique into something between an installation and a treasure vault. It’s temporary, open until Feb 28th 2026, but it’s giving “I could move in.”

Inside, the brand has stacked the racks with fall ready-to-wear, sculptural leather goods, bold jewellery, and pieces from the Iconics line - slinky evening dresses, sharp tailoring, the kind of knitwear that pretends it’s casual but has absolutely no intention of being worn on a couch.

And because Schiaparelli doesn’t know how to do “just enough,” Roseberry has also dropped a custom Christmas tree over at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah - a hotel that already hosts the region’s only Schiaparelli Suite. The tree is a spectacle with nearly a thousand golden metal rods radiating like couture sunbeams, crowned with a mechanical, crystal-covered heart that beats. Because… why wouldn’t it?

Meanwhile, Dubai Mall continues its world-dominating victory lap with over 111 million visitors last year and a massive expansion underway. The District - its shiny new wing - will add hundreds of luxury boutiques and more restaurants than any human needs, but that’s Dubai for you.
