Design Miami 2025 saw the announcement of the partnership between the design fair and Alserkal Dubai. Earmarked for 2027, the Dubai edition of Design Miami will be the first time Design Miami will come to the Middle East. The two entities will curate a platform for collectible design.

The event is part of a multi-year partnership between Design Miami and the Dubai-based, Alserkal. This announcement is the newest in the wave of global design fairs expanding their offerings to the Middle East. 2026 will see the Art Basel in Qatar, and Frieze Abu Dhabi, as Western art businesses eye the region for further expansion.

“As Dubai’s influence on the global design landscape continues to grow and attract leading international brands, our partnership with Alserkal is dedicated to developing an initiative that is deeply rooted in the region’s creative networks”, told Jennifer Roberts of Design Miami CEO to Architectural Digest Middle East. “Alserkal has played a crucial role in building and shaping an international creative district in Dubai.”

More details, including participating galleries and artists, events, and partners will be announced closer to the fair itself. Beyond the annual trade show, the collaboration between Design Miami and Alskerkal Avenue will also establish a year-round programme of design events, including talks and an educational initiative.
