Rohitash Notani has spent his whole life deciding what counts as beautiful, and off the clock, he's still doing it.
Some people spend their careers chasing beauty. Rohitash Notani has spent his time deciding what it actually means, and it shows in everything from the fit of a shirt to the coffee he refuses to compromise on. Before he was the name behind ROSANI, he was a boy in Bombay learning that a home is built on warmth, good food, and people who stay late. That instinct, for tenderness dressed up as taste, never left him. So this time we asked him the questions that reveal the person: the songs, the city, the dish he still dreams about. This is Rohitash, unhurried and entirely himself.

What’s your Coffee/Matcha order?
Double-shot Americano - hot in the winter, iced in the summer

What are your Top 3 songs on repeat right now?
“Illusion” - Dua Lipa
“Click Clack Symphony” (feat. Hans Zimmer) - RAYE
“MZ” - Sascha Funke
One thing you always have in your bag
Fragrance and Jin Tang - the most explosive breath fresheners
One cultural tradition you’d like to pass down
A tradition my parents created - always having people over, connecting through food, and making people feel at home. They made warmth and hospitality feel like a love language.
Something in your closet you will never part with
The final piece I designed for ROSANI’s launch collection - an embellished denim shirt that made me feel the brand was finally ready

A city you feel most connected with (outside of your hometown)
Berlin is the city where I truly grew into myself - where I felt comfortable in my skin, found a sense of freedom, and felt ready to step into a completely new chapter of my life

3 creators you are loving right now (along with their handles, please!)
Artis Ifrach (@maisonartc)
Kicki Yang Zhang (@kickiyangz)
Sawako Kabuki (@sawako_kabuki)
A dish you’ve eaten at a restaurant that you always think about (please name the dish and the restaurant)
The Tuna Tostada - at November Brasserie

What’s your favourite movie of all time?
The Holiday - sappy as it may sound, it truly is one of the most heartwarming films ever made
