In a sea of overstyled celebrity menswear and questionable tailoring decisions, Riz Ahmed largely keeps things simple. No gimmicks, no exhausting trend-chasing - just good clothes, worn well.

Celebrity menswear is in a strange place. Somewhere between men dressing like they’re headed to a dystopian nightclub and others fully committing to the “wealthy man in cashmere” uniform, personal style feels increasingly rare. Everyone seems dressed by committee.
Riz Ahmed, for the most part, avoids that trap.
His style isn’t revolutionary, and that’s probably why it works. Relaxed tailoring, good coats, knitwear, wide-leg trousers, understated shirting - nothing feels overly engineered. Even on the red carpet, there’s usually a sense that he still looks like himself rather than someone swallowed whole by a fashion house mood board.
What works is the consistency. He understands silhouette, leans into texture and doesn’t appear terrified of repeating a formula. There’s a slight edge - a boxier fit here, a stronger coat there - but never enough to tip into “look at me” territory. Importantly, he also seems to understand that not every outfit needs to become a cultural moment.
And while plenty of men are currently attempting a version of understated dressing, Riz’s approach feels less performative than most. It doesn’t scream quiet luxury or fashion insider. It just looks like someone who knows what suits them - which, frankly, is rarer than it should be.

The Riz Ahmed formula is surprisingly straightforward including relaxed tailoring that never feels too corporate and we see him lean into texture over trends. As a Prada ambassador, the palette stays restrained in muted tones with a few surprising colour pops and exaggerated silhouettes now and again, while the footwear remains refreshingly sensible - loafers, derby shoes, boots and sleek trainers, with very little unnecessary drama.
